This was part of Cavitron's original design. It is this aspect of our Buzzbait that makes it so unique from others.
The Cavitron™ is designed to intrude deep into above-surface heavy cover as well as open-water areas (with underwater weed lines, trees, stumps, etc. being the prime targets).
The special engineered Cavitron Prop is deigned to capture more air as it turns. This feature will create an immense amount of air bubbles causing the prop to spin more freely. This ingenuity is what gives Cavitron that enticingly slow retrieve. It is being able to retrieve our buzzbait so slow that will greatly reduce those unforgettable missed strikes. Another great asset to the Cavitron Prop is that the colors are anodized into the blades and not painted. this feature is in part what enables Cavitron to give off an awesome squeal right out of the package. Our blade needs no Tuning!

Upon close inspection with the Cavitron in hand, one notices the high quality Super sharp hook of this bait actually rides slightly further back than that of traditional buzzbait designs - virtually eliminating the need for a trailer hook. Set-back, long shank, oversized hook for more solid hook sets.
One of the most overlooked aspects to conventional buzzbaits are their lack of vibration. Cavitron is built with a .040 wire for more vibration. You always hear about vibration being important on spinnerbait wire, but wire vibration never comes up with buzzbaits. Most buzzbaits have stiff .051 wire.
Cavitron was designed with the knowledge wire vibration was just as important for buzzbaits as spinnerbaits, using a heavy duty yet higher vibe .040 diameter wire to enhance the vibration. Most other buzzbaits don't have the high-vibe wire like the Cavitron.
The Cavitron™ sports the new patented "Stealth" body. This design took Lee Bailey Jr almost three years to perfect and has greatly increased Cavitron's renowned ability to crawl across the surface. The "Stealth" design acts a keel in the water keeping our buzzbait running true with the hook staying straight up. It is this design that has increased the bait's snag-proof capabilities and enables Cavitron to plane off quicker than any other.
